🌞🌿 SHMS Summer Academy Adventure! 🚣♂️🐢🎣
Today, our students had an unforgettable day at Pocomoke River State Park: Shad Landing as part of our "Life on the Eastern Shore" learning series! They paddled through a water safety canoeing station, hiked the scenic trails of Pocomoke State Forest, explored local wildlife at the Nature Center, tried their hand at the pond fishing, and wrapped it all up with a Community Circle and movement activity at the pavilion.
Huge thanks to Ranger Heim, our dedicated teachers, and support staff for bringing the curriculum to life in such a hands-on, meaningful way! 🌞🌾💙
